In July 2004, Sara won the Amoena breast cancer awareness pin contest sponsored by thebreastcaresite.com. This pin was distrubuted nationally during October 2004 for breast cancer awareness month and is still available for $3 by contacting her. All proceeds go to breast cancer support or research. Sara was diagnosed with breast cancer at age 30, and is actively helping to increase awareness in young women and spread hope through her art. For more information, please contact Sara.
